What's the use in a website that is difficult to use? Surveys suggest a website has just 6 seconds to impress a visitor before they press the back button and look for something more relevent. If a customer doesn't find what they are looking for straight away, they will simply look elsewhere. That's why our websites are designed with the customer in mind. Prominent Search

When a customer visits your site, they already know what they want to find. It might be a 4 bedroom house to buy for around £250,000, or it could be a 2 bedroom flat for rent at around £600 per month. That's why all our sites feature a prominent search box as one of the first things a customer sees - so they can find what they are looking for as quickly as possible

Relevent information

The information displayed to the customer needs to be as relevant as possible. For example, once a customer has entered their search for, say, a house for sale between £200,000 and £300,000, they are shown results with the three most important factors in buying a home shown promininently: price, location and number of bedrooms.

Large pictures

Once a customer has found a property that fits their search criteria, they will probably want to see what it looks like. That's why having a gallery with lots of pictures is so important. What do you think a customer would prefer: a single, small image showing the property from the front, or multiple, large images showing each of the rooms in detail.

There is nothing more frustrating that a website that is difficult to use. While we're very good at website design, what we really like doing is helping other companies to make huge savings of time and money by helping them to automate their business. Almost any task that you have to perform more than once can be automated - and the benefits to your business can be <u>enormous</u>.

A case in point: The Communications Centre in Wyken, Coventry, were struggling to fulfil the 60 orders per week they were receiving for mobile phone handsets. After initial consulation with director Simon Paul, we agreed to produce a fully-featured, high-value yet cost-effective web-based system to take the repetitive jobs out of running his business.

Within 2 weeks of the system being completed, the Communications Centre were able to process over 400 orders per week, while actually having more time available to grow the business. The system paid for itself in a matter of weeks, and has continued to work with us in adding extra features to the system over time to further improve their business process.
